【Before coming to Taiwan】
Since childhood, I have dreamed of visiting the world, studying in another country, getting acquainted with cultures and people with different languages. A little older, my love for engineering and technology continued to inspire me to study abroad. I had a solid foundation having studied in the best environments from my country. My high school is Chu Van An national high school for the gifted - one of the three magnet high schools in Hanoi. At university, I continued my path of studying technology at Hanoi University of Science and Technology - the top 1 school in science and technology in Vietnam.

【NFU - my choice】
Coming to Taiwan, a completely new country and language, even though I had carefully prepared with a solid basis and language with TOEIC 905, I was still overwhelmed at first. However, with the help of international and Taiwanese friends, I got used to life in Huwei town. I find life in Huwei to be peaceful but equally interesting. It's not a big city, but everything in Huwei is always complete and comfortable, and there's no hustle and bustle like in the city. There is always a place to relax after a stressful period of researching. Traffic in Taiwan is also very convenient and safe. And of course - NFU which is a school with full modern equipment, professors are very dedicated to instruction and guiding, OIA staff are also very enthusiastic with the paperwork, which was very difficult for me in the beginning because I didn't know Chinese at all. Over a period of 2 years, although not long, I think I have fallen in love with the school, the town and the people here. Moreover, the time have equipped me with knowledge and skills for my future career. I am very grateful for what I have achieved by the time there.

【Achievements are not just mine.】
That's right. I have achieved some accomplishments that are quite something to be proud of. Yet, it was not only my own effort but also the help of teachers, friends and NFU. Entering the university with a scholarship each month has reduced the financial burden on me and my family, making my main work of studying and research come first. With a passion for state-of-the-art technology and industry 4.0, my main research is on the application of smart robots and image processing in industrial factories. Learning with practice is the best skill development, so in the first year of my master's degree, I along with my labmate practiced with a real project. That project is "Hiwin robot competition", where participating teams use robots combined with cameras to perform a number of applications: completing puzzles, sorting waste, playing billiards. We won the championship in smart billiards by defeating the team from NTUST. It is a team effort, everyone in our team have supported each other to achieve this goal. Also in my first year, I partook in the CSME conference with the topic "Solving Jigsaw Puzzle using KAZE Algorithm Based on Robot-Vision integrated system". In the second year of study, I participated in "Precision Machine Tools and Intelligent Technology Special Implementation Competition" with the topic: "Predicted Grinding Quality Based on Optimized Iterative Error and Dynamic Balance Algorithm of 3-Mass Center". At the end of the research time at NFU, with the help of my professors, my project: "Dynamic Workpiece Modeling with Robotic Pick-Place Based on Stereo Vision Scanning Using Fast Point-Feature Histogram Algorithm" won the prize " Best conference award" in the IEEE ECICE2021 conference and it was published in Applied Science - an SCI journal. Beside academics life, I was also guided and took part in school activities such as being a representative of NFU participating in the Taiwan - Vietnam higher education fair as well as winning second runner-up prize in: "NFU Tigertube film contest 2020".
With the introduction of the school and professors, I was lucky to receive a training scholarship between Chevalier company and NFU. I also received a lot of useful practical knowledge and then used this knowledge to work as an engineer thereafter. My current job is a research and product development engineer: applying new technology such as sensor signals and integrated robots to traditional CNC machines.

【Future】
In the near future, I plan to return to my country and bring the knowledge I have acquired to build my own technology network. So, my time in Taiwan is coming to an end. However, no matter where I go or what I do in the future, NFU and Taiwan are still beautiful memories for me. Thank you for everything!!!
