The Office of International Affairs (OIA) and international administrators in campus, for over a decade, in promoting the international cooperation and exchange with partnership universities and institutions in overseas, had played an important role and brought significant influence upon the higher education internationalization of Taiwan. However, the OIAs still faced a lot of challenges and difficulties in developing the university internationalization, such as high-frequency staff change, lack of a platform or no opportunity to learn experience with seniors or other faculties. The Foundation for International Cooperation in Higher Education of Taiwan (FICHET) plans to arrange a series of workshops and training programs to promote international exchange among Taiwan higher education institutions by providing a platform for administrative staff in charge of university international affairs to meet, network, and share ideas and experiences about issues relating to university internationalization, professional image building and partnership cooperation and SDGs.
