Session 9.08 Exchange imbalance: how to bridge the troubled waters between Asian and Western universities

Factors include: cultural stereotypes; intellectual pride and prejudice; language barriers; geographical distance; scholarship opportunities; the universities ranking myth; and potential job markets in the educational industry. Presenters will share their experiences, offer some innovative ways to beat the imbalance, and re-address the true spirit of scholarly exchange.
