「2015大阪臺北高等教育會議」由大阪地區大學聯合協議會(The consortium of universities in osaka)主辦,於本(104)年8月25日至27日假大阪VIALE OSAKA 飯店舉行。大阪方面有43人與會,臺灣方面則由教育部高等教育司黃司長雯玲、本會蘇董事長慧貞、陳執行長惠美及來自國內7所公私立大學校長、副校長、教授及國際事務主管人員等一行14人與會,透過此次會議,就臺日間高等教育共同面臨的重要議題與挑戰,進行深度的經驗分享與交流。
The 3rd Taipei-Osaka conference hosted by the Consortium of Universities in Osaka was held on August 26, 2015. The delegation of Taiwan including FICHET and 7 universities led by Ms. Wen-Ling Huang, Director-General, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education. The theme of this year’s conference is “Globalization of Higher Education and Talent Cultivation.” The total number of participants from both sides reached around 85.
The conference opened with the welcoming remarks from Dr. Masataka Inoue, President, The Consortium of Universities in Osaka. Ms. Wen-Ling Huang, Director-General, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education,Taiwan. Dr. H. Jenny Su, President, Foundation for International Cooperation in Higher Education of Taiwan. The keynote speech was given by Mr. Hideto Matsumoto, Director, Office for International Planning, Higher Education Bureau, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Japan in title of “Globalization of Higher Education and Talent Cultivation.”
The discussion topics in the conference included “The Social Contribution of Universities,” “Coping with the Demographic Challenge: Fewer Children and Aging Population,” and “Supporting Students Employability.” The presenting institutions included Osaka Kawasaki Rehabilitation University, Osaka University of Commerce, Kansai University of Welfare Sciences, National Cheng Kung University, National Taichung University of Education, and Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology. All the representatives of Taiwanese and Japanese universities have enjoyed a fruitful conversation.
